Harsh Patel is doctoral candidate in Computation Science & Engineering Department at North Carolina A&T State University. His doctoral research focuses on leachate management for characterization and mitigation of organic matter and emerging contaminants such as PFAS and 1,4-Dioxane. His current work focuses on developing and evaluating a novel adsorbent material for leachate treatment and comparing the performance with computational prediction model generated for adsorption experiment based on historic data from previous studies. He is a recipient of HDR Water Scholarship 2021 and was offered a summer 2021 internship at HDR as part of the scholarship at Raleigh Office. His hobbies include hiking, scuba diving, and nature photography.
