Deputy Director and Chief Engineer Detroit Water and Sewerage Dept
Mobley is the Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD). Under her leadership, DWSD implemented the first post construction stormwater management ordinance in 2018. Mobley’s capital program has renewed Detroit’s water and sewer infrastructure at a rate approaching 1% per year for the past 4 years. In 2016, DWSD also began constructing green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) projects that manage more than 50 MG of runoff annually. Mobley was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Michigan Infrastructure Council, a state led board developing an infrastructure asset management strategy for the next 30 years.
